Applicants are selected by the Selection Committee based solely on their unique applications. Applicants must submit at least 1 letter of recommendation, as well as at least 1 form of supporting documentation with their choice of format. Documents can be a personal letter, or video.

An official agreement for collaboration between the Fenestration Association of British Columbia (FEN-BC) and the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) was finalized on Feb. 9, 2021, developing mutual synergies that will allow both organizations to best support their respective members.
Fenestration Canada has announced Terry Adamson, outgoing president of the association and technical director of Westeck Windows and Doors, will be joining the association as a full-time technical director, working with Al Jaugelis, the current technical director.

Imagine a home that can stand up to extreme weather, be it heat waves or water surges, while bringing your gas bill to zero and keeping your electricity bill manageable. Considering that buildings are responsible for 12% of Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions, our building sector needs to stop imagining and act.
Future versions of the National Building Code (NBC) are expected to be mimicked by the provinces, providing a regulatory push that will increase product demand from larger, mid-level projects and make a persuasive business case for more manufacturers to invest. In the meantime, “Unless it is a high-end multi-unit or commercial build, most contractors and designers are not interested in Passive House-certified windows.”
