Hurd's clad windows' exteriors are encased in a durable, heavy-duty, extruded aluminum. It comes in seven standard colors, 20 special colors and unlimited custom colors. It resists chipping, fading and denting, and makes painting a thing of the past. Inside, you'll still enjoy all the warmth and beauty of natural wood.

Wood Species

Putting pine windows in a maple den is not our idea of perfection. Ideally, your windows and patio doors should match your cabinets. So, whether it's your den or your kitchen, or throughout the whole house, Hurd lets you choose from nine beautiful woods - Maple, Alder, Mahogany, Cherry, Douglas Fir, Red Oak, Lyptus, White Oak and Pine. In fact, we'll make your windows and patio doors out of any workable species.

Hardware

Hurd offers you a selection of stylish, superbly engineered, beautifully finished hardware. You'll find a variety of options for handles and locking mechanisms specifically designed for each of our windows and doors. With as many as 11 finishes to choose from, you'll be able to match your décor perfectly.

Weatherproofing

Perimeter weatherstrip on sash and frame. Positive locking mechanism draws sash tight against weatherstrip.

Options

Standard extension jambs available up to 7-3/8". Extruded aluminum drip cap. Applied aluminum clad brickmould or flat casing. Non-standard sizing to 1/16" available (contact your Hurd distributor for size limitations).
